Immigrant entrepreneurship and the transformation of the health care sector in Sweden

The purpose of this project is to analyze the widespread myth on opportunity entrepreneurship in general, and the political rhetoric on the role of entrepreneurship as a individual opportunity in Sweden in particular and whether there is a selective sorting mechanism into entrepreneurship into the social and healthcare sector; that female and immigrants rather are pushed into entrepreneurship by necessity and that native males rather are pulled into entrepreneurship by opportunity (after control for differences in education)? Therefore the project also aims to investigate if the above described new possibilities for entrepreneurship reproduce/enhance inequality in the sector, or does it decrease inequalities?
